Whether you are a student or engineer new to the field, or even an experienced pro looking for a refresher on the latest thinking in design, you are invited to join us for this, the first of a twelve-part series on the Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors: Class #1, Sensors and How to Use Them.
We will introduce the concepts of physical signals, why and how they need to be changed into analog/electrical signals (through the use of devices such as sensors, microphones, antennas, and photodiodes) and then changed back into physical signals (using devices such as actuators, speakers, and motors) and how signals can be processed for the highest accuracy reproduction.
